1. Agreement to Terms
By using the services of Arizona Direct Movers ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Arizona Direct Movers provides residential and commercial moving services, including but not limited to:
- Local and long-distance moving
- Packing and unpacking services
- Storage solutions
- Specialty item moving
- Labor-only services
3. Booking and Estimates
3.1 Estimates
All estimates are provided based on information supplied by the customer. Final charges may vary based on actual services rendered, time required, and materials used.
3.2 Binding Estimates
Binding estimates are available upon request and after an in-home assessment. Binding estimates are subject to accuracy of inventory provided.
3.3 Deposits
A deposit may be required to secure your moving date. Deposits are applied to your final bill.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
4.2 Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Extra stops
- Excessive stairs or long carries
- Heavy items over 300 lbs
- Packing materials
- Extended travel time
- Waiting time caused by customer
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- 72+ hours notice: Full deposit refund
- 24-72 hours notice: 50% deposit refund
- Less than 24 hours notice: No deposit refund
5.2 Company Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel services due to unsafe conditions, customer behavior, or force majeure events. Full deposit refund will be provided for company-initiated cancellations.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1 Basic Coverage
Basic valuation coverage is included at $0.60 per pound per article as required by law.
6.2 Full Value Protection
Full value protection is available for an additional fee. This must be purchased before the move begins.
6.3 Excluded Items
We are not liable for:
- Items packed by customer
- Cash, jewelry, or important documents
- Perishable items
- Plants
- Pre-existing damage
- Electronic data loss
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Provide accurate inventory and access information
- Ensure legal parking for moving trucks
- Be present or have authorized representative at pickup and delivery
- Remove hazardous materials
- Secure valuables and important documents
- Prepare appliances for moving
- Obtain necessary moving permits
8. Claims Process
8.1 Filing a Claim
Damage claims must be noted on the bill of lading at delivery. Written claims must be filed within 9 months of delivery.
8.2 Claim Resolution
We will acknowledge receipt of claims within 30 days and provide resolution within 120 days.
9. SMS/Text Messaging Terms of Service
SMS Communication Agreement
By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS communications, you consent to receive text messages from Arizona Direct Movers for the following purposes:

- Service Updates: Crew arrival notifications and status updates

- Promotional Offers: Seasonal specials and service promotions
- Storage Notifications: Access codes and facility information
SMS Terms and Conditions:
- Consent: Your consent is required for SMS communications and is not a condition of purchase
- Frequency: Message frequency may vary based on your service needs and preferences
- Costs: Message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan
- Opt-Out: To opt out at any time, text "STOP" to any message from us

- Privacy: Your SMS consent and phone number are never shared with third parties or affiliates
Carrier Information:
Our SMS service is compatible with all major wireless carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Carrier charges may apply for text messages sent and received.
10. Prohibited Items
We cannot transport:
- Explosives and ammunition
- Flammable items
- Corrosive materials
- Propane tanks
- Pesticides
- Paint and paint thinners
- Illegal substances
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Arizona state law.
12. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the actual value of goods lost or damaged, or the coverage amount selected, whichever is applicable.
13. Indemnification
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Arizona Direct Movers from any claims arising from customer's breach of these Terms or negligence.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable federal regulations.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Current Terms will be available on our website.
